Mexican guitarist who has developed a particular sound based on his experience in different styles like Afro-Caribbean music, Mexican music, and jazz. He has performed at important Festivals in Mexico such as Festival Afro-Caribeño, Festival Cultural Zacatecas, Festival Tajín, International Jazz Festival JazzUV, Jazz & Blues Festival in Durango. Also, he has recorded as a sideman in productions exploring jazz language and southern music from Mexico. Since he arrived in NYC, he has collaborated and performed at important venues such as Minton’s Playhouse in Harlem, Smalls Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, Folk Alliance International in Kansas, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, The Penn Museum in Philadelphia, The Kupferberg Center for the Arts in Queens NY, with different projects of Mexican, Afro-Caribbean music, and Jazz.

 

Guitarrista Mexicano que ha desarrollado un sonido especial a partir de su experiencia en diferentes estilos como música Afro-Caribeña, Mexicana y Jazz. Se ha presentado en importantes festivales en México tales como Festival Afro-Caribeño, Festival Cultural Zacatecas, Festival Tajín, Festival Internacional JazzUV, Festival de Jazz y Blues de Durango. Ha grabado también como sideman en producciones explorando el lenguaje del Jazz y la música del sur de México. Desde su llegada a la ciudad de Nueva York, ha colaborado y se ha presentado en importantes escenarios tales como Minton’s Playhouse (Harlem), Smalls Jazz Club (Greenwich Village), Folk Alliance International (Kansas), The National Jazz Museum (Harlem), The Penn Museum (Philadelphia), The Kupferberg Center for the Arts (Queens NY) con diferentes proyectos de música Mexicana, Afro-Caribeña y Jazz.
